Galway Bay Golf Course

Founded in 1993 and designed by Ryder Cup legend Christy O’Connor Jnr, Galway Bay Golf Resort is neither a parkland nor a links course – straddling the Wild Atlantic Way, you can hear the waves lapping the shore on a few of the fabulous 18 holes – many golf balls have been lost into the Atlantic Ocean over the last 25 years. A challenging par 72 7000yard course, Galway Bay welcomes golfers of all levels from all over the World all year round, and has a brand new clubhouse and a traditional warm Irish welcome to greet you after you finish, with food and drink served 7 days a week!

Its tranquility belies a challenging par 72 golf course, with particularly strong opening and closing holes. Excellent fairways and true, fast greens guarantee an enjoyable and interesting golf course for golfers of all abilities.

The golf club has recently made an extensive investment into the development of a new clubhouse with new larger and better equipped restaurant, bar and changing area so as to enhancing the golfing experience.
